If you’re into astrology, you might have heard that we’re entering into a new astrological age. However, the field of astrology is huge and can be super confusing. So what astrological age are we even in right now?
In this blog post, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about the Age of Aquarius.
Our Current Astrological Age
Right now, we are in an interesting transition period between the Age of Pisces and the Age of Aquarius. This isn’t just an astrological phenomenon, but a cultural and spiritual shift that affects us all.
In astrology, each “age” is roughly 2,000 years long and marks significant eras in human development. Key celestial events mark this transition, including the great conjunction and the shifting equinox along the celestial equator.
What Is The Age Of Pisces?
Astrologers debate on exact dates of astrological ages. Typically, people say that the Age of Pisces began in the year 1AD and will end in the year 2150. This age was marked by the shift of the vernal equinox point to the constellation of Pisces. Fish is the major symbol of this era, characterized by faith, religion, and emotional connection.
The Pisces era coincided with significant religious movements, such as the rise of the Roman empire, Christianity, and Islam. The Piscean influence was about embracing compassion and empathy, shaping the cultural and spiritual narratives for nearly two millennia.
What Is The Age Of Aquarius?
A new chapter unfolds as we usher in the dawning of the Age of Aquarius. Since the Age of Pisces won’t end until 2150, we still have a while until the age of Aquarius officially begins. However, we are already starting to see these cultural shifts.
The water-bearer is the symbol of Aquarius and promises a period of:
- Enlightenment
- Innovation
- Humanitarianism
The age is a massive shift towards intellectual expansion and technological advancements like space travel. This era is going to be ultra-futuristic. The Age of Aquarius will arrive with a vision of unity, collective consciousness, and a break from conventional structures.
